National College is one of the earliest traditional self financing parallel colleges in Kerala. It was established in 1952, and is situated in the heart of Alappuzha town about hundred meters away from Alappuzha District Court towards west and opposite to SDV Central School.
The college offers parallel and private study for U.G and P.G courses in various streams affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi and Kerala Universities. Further we also conduct Higher Secondary Course of the Open School and the NIOS of MHRD approved by government of India. Since its formation the college has made tremendous achievement and glorious history of victory in graduation and post graduation courses.
