Master of Arts in History is a two year post graduate programme in history. The course covers an in-depth and comprehensive study of historical events in India as well as across the world. The course serves as a basis for further higher studies and research in this field. On completion of MA, a student can apply for NET or JRF exam. Students with master’s degree in history have ample job opportunities. They can be employed in sectors like tourism, journalism, sate depts., Museums, Archeological Survey of India, Civil service etc.
